Thrusters

bulletSmall and nanosatellite systems and missions are becoming more complex everyday.  Higher pointing accuracies are needed for many payloads than currently available.  MAS has been working to develop monopropellant hydrogen peroxide and hydrazine thrusters with one to several orders of magnitude less impulse-bits than currently available.  These can be used for main attitude control or to make minor pointing adjustments to larger spacecraft.

Other ideas for small thruster systems are also currently under development at MAS.  These include gel propellants, non-toxic propellants, reusable solid-based propellants, hybrid and electric systems.

If you have a need for a small or nanosatellite thruster system or would like more information please contact us.
