We have over fifteen years of experience in electro-mechanical computer-based control systems as well as automation. Here are some examples. Computer-Controlled Incubator We have developed a computer-controlled incubator with temperature control by a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) loop. This allows temperature to be maintained with +/- 0.2 degrees C. The system allows for various sensors to be connected to the system for temperature, rH, CO2 and other parameters to be monitored. PC-based control software allows the user to control the set point and monitor the chamber. The chamber is 6” square.
Miniature Bio-Reactor
We have tested a miniature rotating bioreactor with can be controlled by a PC with the rotation rate of the chamber variable.
Thermal Cycler
A thermal cycler/incubator has been developed which allows the user to change the temperature routine and temperature set point. This allows the system to maintain temperature by a Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC). It can quickly ramp up/down to various set points and uses PID control to maintain temperature.
Biotechnology System Consulting
We provide engineering consultation and support for various biotechnology projects that need electro-mechanical engineering support. For instance this is a 3-D model of a surgical device that we developed. We also are creating the pump control system for this device.
Please contact us for how we can help you with your biotechnology engineering needs.
